5 Easy steps to hanging towel hooks

If you're anything like me, I always had to ask my husband for help with easy tasks. After a few failed attempts, I finally found a process that worked for me.

Materials:

Towels Hooks ( I used these)

Dry Wall Anchors

Tools:

Step 1:

After purchasing the hooks that you are using, decide on the placement in your space. Utilizing your space, figure out how far apart you want the hooks to be. I had 3 hooks in a 24in space that were 9in apart.

Step 2:

Cut painters tape to the size of your space (24in in my case) and fold it in half finding the center. Place the tape in the area you want your hooks and use your level to ensure its well, level.

Step 3:

My hooks have 2 screws, so I started with the middle hook and placed in over the fold in the painters tape. Holding it in place, use a pencil to trace the screw hole. Continue with the remaining towel hooks. Once all screw holes have been traced, pre-drill your screw holes at those marks.

Step 4:

Now that you have all your screw holes pre-drilled, remove the tape and add your dry wall anchors (if needed) in those holes. I did not need dry wall anchors because I added the hooks to a piece of wood.

Step 5:

Once the anchors are in place, hold the hooks up and screw them in place. I used both a drill and screw driver to screw in my hooks because of the way my hooks were. The drill bit was not long enough for me to use it to completely drill in the screws.

Tada! So easy right!?

I hope this gives you to confidence to hang that piece of art, or mirror, or hooks that you have been waiting to get hung. Take matters into your own hands and get it done.

XX, Jillian
